Physically strong player, not very quick first steps; good progression and good speed in the long run. He is a central midfielder; technically not outstanding; right-footed, left-footed used little. Good shot, dangerous header, and has good shot from outside the area. Some difficulties if put under pressure. Defensively he is aggressive and has good recovery ability; he makes the mistake of playing on the opponent's intention by being dribbled or by uncovering his area of the pitch. He also has difficulties in 1vs1 in changes of direction.
