Paul Smyth

A player with modest physical impact, small in stature; very quick over short distances; has good acceleration and good speed over long distances. Plays as a winger on both the right and left; technically sound; mainly right-footed but has no problem using his left; under pressure, he has good dribbling skills and good ball control; skilled at playing in tight spaces, he prefers to receive the ball at his feet and take on his opponent, although he sometimes attacks deep; good dribbling, mostly on his strong foot; good cross, decent shot; VERY LONG THROW-INS; not a great header. Aggressive in defensive phase but gives the impression that he does not like physical contact very much; also tends not to follow the man he is marking and gets caught out, or at least reacts late. However, he is a nuisance when attacking.
