Not physically imposing, quick over short distances, average speed over longer distances. Plays as a central midfielder, technically not great, right-footed, rarely uses his left foot: under pressure, he takes no risks; he keeps it simple and kicks the ball forward even at random when he has time to control it. He participates little in the offensive phase; in club play, he jumps for corner kicks, always going to the far post. In defensive phase, he is aggressive, annoying in duels, skilled at recovering the ball and attacking the second ball. He is tough in tackles and has good recovery qualities. He is a player who relies more on quantity than quality.
