Physically well-built player; very tall with long limbs; not very quick over short distances and his speed is not particularly high either. Deployed as a centre-back in a four-man defence or as a pure centre-back in a three-man defence: right-footed, technically good; mainly right-footed; also uses his left foot without too many problems: has personality; is not afraid to play the ball and come out with the ball at his feet even in difficult situations; when put under pressure, he also makes a few mistakes; has a decent throw and is very dangerous from set pieces. In defence, he is aggressive and very man-oriented; he plays very early and is rather impetuous; he is not always timely and quick in his runs; he has good recovery qualities; in 1v1 situations, he has problems in tight spaces and with quick movements; he does not always manage to find the right time to intervene, allowing the opponent to enter the area. He is an annoying player but one who concedes.
