A player with a normal physique; rather slow off the mark, he has a good stride; his acceleration is not exceptional, but he develops good speed over long distances. He plays full-back on both the right and left, and has also played centre-back on rare occasions; Technically average, right-footed, he has no major problems using his left foot; he is good going forward, where he gets forward consistently and delivers good crosses; decent in the air. Defensively, he is aggressive in challenges but allows opponents to get past him and is very impetuous; not always flawless in his reading of the game and timing; he struggles against quick opponents.
