Nico Schlotterbeck

A very tall and physically strong player, slow over short distances but with decent progression over longer distances. He plays as a central defender and is technically sound, left-footed and rarely uses his right foot. He is clumsy when put under pressure and forced to play quickly, but has good kicking ability, a good long throw and a good shot, even from long range. He also attempts dribbling, taking a few risks. He is very dangerous in the aerial game. In defensive phase, he struggles when faced with speed and changes of direction; he is not agile or quick to regain his position; however, he has a big physical impact and is very decisive in tackles.
