Physically well-built player, not particularly quick or fast; decent progression over long distances. Plays as a central midfielder; technically sound; right-footed, rarely uses his left foot; under pressure, he almost always relies on simple play and few touches; he prefers to receive the ball at his feet; he rarely attacks open spaces; good shot; good long pass, although he needs space and time to be accurate; dangerous in the air. Defensively, he is aggressive but too impetuous; he closes down well and does so with good intensity; more uncomfortable when he has to chase the ball.
